Comments, complaints or compliments

We want to provide our customers with the best possible service. To help us improve and enhance our services we would like you to share your views and experiences with us:
Comments and compliments
Your comments and compliments are an important way to get your opinions about our services. Please let us know if you feel that:
- we could do something a little better by filling in our online form for comments
- you have received particularly good service by filling in our online form for compliments
Hopefully, you will never need to complain, but occasionally things can go wrong. When they do, we want to know so that we can put it right as soon as possible. Often calling us can be all that is needed to resolve simple mistakes and misunderstandings.
However, if the matter cannot be resolved in this way, you may want to make an official complaint to our Customer Services Manager - information on how to do this can be found in the comments, complaints and compliments leaflet.
To help us resolve any problems, we have a procedure which ensures all complaints are dealt with fairly and thoroughly, which can be found under the downloads section of this page.

All comments and compliments are forwarded to the member of staff concerned and senior management.
Ultimately the Local Government Ombudsman looks at complaints about councils and some other authorities and organisations. However, you should complain to the Council before complaining to the Ombudsman. Please follow the link to the Ombudsman website for more information, including leaflets and details of how to make a complaint.
