Car Clubs provide vehicles to members to pay-as-they-drive. Clubs tend to be organised on a community basis with cars being located as close to a cluster of members as possible.

Train travel offers quick and direct access to many destinations, and is two-thirds less polluting than travelling by car.
There are seven railway stations in West Oxfordshire on the Cotswolds Line which runs from London Paddington to Hereford and Worcester:

West Oxfordshire Sustainable Transport Forum
This forum aims to increase the number of people using sustainable methods of transport such as walking, cycling, public transport, car sharing and car clubs.
Current projects include:
- mapping cycle parking and installing it in the main West Oxfordshire towns and villages, and
- producing a leisure cycling and walking map.
Membership is open to all environmental community groups, businesses, walking and cycling enthusiasts, Sustrans representatives, local public transport operators and relevant statutory bodies in the West Oxfordshire area.
