Woodstock parking survey
In 2016 we carried out a parking survey across West Oxfordshire, which highlighted a number of problem areas; particularly that the demand in Woodstock for parking in and around the centre of the town is higher than the available spaces.
The needs of residents, businesses, shoppers, visitors and employees may conflict and competing needs for the spaces will always be a problematic due to the limitations of historic market towns. We’ve created survey to help us find ways to improve things for residents, visitors and businesses alike.
We ask that you take the time to fill in this survey even if you do not own a vehicle, so that we hear the views of as many people who could be directly or indirectly affected by any alteration of current parking provision as possible. A paper copy of the survey will also be available in the foyer of Woodstock town council which is open daily, from 9am to 1pm. The results of this survey will be shared with Oxfordshire County Council, as the highways authority, and any changes proposed by them will then be subjected to a public consultation.
