To be considered you need to:
- be registered on the Waiting List or on the transfer list if you are a tenant of a Housing Association in the District.
- have a local connection with West Oxfordshire. Some schemes also require an applicant to have a local connection with the village where the scheme is located.

If you work in a role that provides an essential service to the public, you are likely to be a ‘key worker’. There is a wealth of job opportunities available in the District but we recognise that finding an affordable home is not always easy. In addition to affordable housing provision, West Oxfordshire District Council has been working with private sector landlords on a scheme that benefits homeless people by using Government grant funding to provide assistance with rent and deposit payments.
