Booking our community spaces
Our modern and flexible meeting spaces are now available for hire! We offer three rooms for you to book for your meetings and events: our two Committee Rooms and our Community Space, each a versatile venue equipped with AV technology.
Whether you're one of our key partners, a community group, charity, or business, our spaces could be the perfect setting for your meetings, workshops, and events.
Booking procedure
If you are interested in booking either the Committee Rooms or Community Space, please email Executive.Support@westoxon.gov.uk with your required time and date and contact details.
Our team will confirm availability and assist with your booking.

Committee Room 1

- Seats 50 people (theatre style) or 30 people at tables
- 3 screens that can display presentations, no mics

Committee Room 2

- Maximum capacity of 20
- 12 tables & 19 chairs
- 1 screen that can be used to display presentations and can link to VC, and 1 screen at the back of the room

Committee Rooms 1&2
- 192.5m2
- Seats 85 comfortably
- 4 screens that can be used to display presentations

- Ground floor with access to disabled toilets
Community Space / Chamber
- Maximum capacity of 60
- 4 screens that can be used to display presentations as well as 4 other screens at the side of the room that could be used independently
- WiFi
- Located on the first floor and easily accessible by stairs or lift
*Please be aware that this is the maximum number of people per room in compliance with fire regulations.

We are eager for a wide range of organisations to make use of our rooms and offer a segmented pricing structure to suit different needs.

Key information
- Rooms must be booked for a minimum slot of two hours.
- Rooms are available to hire from 10am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.
- All three rooms are fitted with AV functions.
- Water is provided. Other refreshments can also be booked via the Café at our Elmfield offices from the end of January 2025.
- The Council building and car park are strictly non-smoking areas.
