Productivity Plan 2024
The Local Government Finance Settlement requires all councils to produce a productivity plan which considers:
- How the council has transformed the way it designs and delivers services to make better use of resources
- How the council plans to take advantage of technology and make better use of data to improve decision making, service design, and use of resources
- The council’s plans to reduce wasteful spend within the organisation
- What the barriers are that prevent local government making progress and what the government can do to help reduce or remove them
This Productivity Plan outlines many of the activities we are undertaking to ensure we continue to fulfil our commitment to providing modern ‘value for money’ services while maintaining one of the lowest Council Tax rates in England, delivering high quality services and addressing the priorities for West Oxfordshire presented in our Council Plan.
