The government has produced official guidance for landlords and tenants in the private and social rented sectors on the restrictions in place during the Coronavirus outbreak. It includes:

• measures relating to possession notices as amended by the Coronavirus Act 2020
• court action on possession cases during the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak
• property access and health and safety obligations in the context of Coronavirus (COVID-19) restrictions

The government has also published advice on moving home during the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.
