Waterways Day 2026
Residents, experts and community organisations came together at the Corn Exchange in Witney on Friday 9 October for West Oxfordshire District Council’s annual Waterways Day.
Four well-attended talks and panel discussions explored the challenges facing our rivers and streams, and how we can work together to protect them. Residents had the opportunity to ask questions, share their experiences and hear from organisations working on water quality, flood prevention and nature recovery.
