Salt Cross area action plan examination

The Area Action Plan (AAP) has been formally submitted to the Planning Inspectorate for independent examination. The appointed Inspector is Mr Darren McCreery MA BA (Hons) MRTPI. 

The Inspector has now issued a guidance note and a list of matters, issues and questions (MIQs) for the examination together with an indicative timetable for the hearing sessions. These documents are available to download below and have also been made available in the examination library at the bottom of this page.

AAP Hearing Statements

As part of the examination process, the District Council and a number of other parties have submitted hearing statements in response to the Inspector’s Matters, Issues and Questions. These statements are available to download below:

AAP Representations

You can download copies of all comments received at the Regulation 19 consultation stage in August 2020. These have been provided to the Planning Inspectorate as part of the AAP submission.

AAP Examination Library

All information relating to the AAP examination will be held in the examination library which can be downloaded below.

This includes all documents submitted by the Council together with correspondence from the Inspector and will be updated to include additional information as the examination progresses.
