Council meetings and minutes

Due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic and current increased case numbers we have implemented the following procedures in relation to all public meetings to help keep people safe and reduce the risk to people attending meetings:

  • Unless exempt, attendees should wear a face covering at all times (face coverings can be removed when speaking);
  • All attendees are encouraged to undertake a lateral flow test prior to attending the Council Offices, anyone who tests positive should not attend;
  • Windows and doors will be open to facilitate ventilation
  • We will try to maintain distance between people where possible

In order to manage the number of people in attendance any members of the public wishing to attend a meeting are encouraged to contact us beforehand to reserve a place by either:

Anyone who has reserved a place at any Council meeting and has any symptoms of Covid-19 should not attend the meeting and should follow the relevant guidance.

Members of the public are still entitled to ask questions at some meetings.  Please see our Public Participation page for full details on who can ask questions and the procedures to be followed if you wish to speak at a public meeting.

Minutes and meeting documents

Find meetings, agendas, reports and minutes

Agendas and reports are published to the website five working days before a meeting. Minutes are published as soon as possible after the meeting, and at the latest when the agenda for the next meeting is published.

All minutes should be regarded as draft until they have been approved as a correct record at the next meeting of the Council, Cabinet, Committee or Sub-Committee. If any amendments are made to the draft then the final version will be published as soon as possible.
