Article 4 directions apply to certain areas and restrict permitted development rights. This means you will need to apply for planning permission so we can consider a proposal in more detail. It does not mean that permission will be refused.

We confirmed an Article 4 Direction for Business sites in West Oxfordshire in September 2016, to restrict the change of use from offices to houses without first applying for planning permission.
